Physical Therapy

The Physical Therapy department at Howard County Medical Center has two licensed Physical Therapists on staff with over 34 years of combined experience to serve our patient population. Jan Meyer (left), PT, GCS, has special interest in orthopedics and is also certified in geriatric physical therapy. Kristi Kleinsasser (right), DPT, has experience in treating pediatric patients and has special interest in treating patients with neurological/neuromuscular problems.
The Physical Therapy department is in the process of enlarging treatment space, accessibility, treatment programs and increasing professional cooperation between the Physical Therapists and the contracted Occupational Therapist to provide the best rehab experience possible for our patients. Physical Therapy will work closely with your primary care physician or a referring specialist physician to provide treatment(s) that you will need to recover to the fullest quality of life possible. We will make every effort possible to accommodate your individual schedule, and we will provide your progress reports to a referring physician.
